How To Complete Our Tax Form

Your step-by-step guide to our new comprehensive intake form that will help ensure we can process your taxes as efficiently and effectively while maximizing your return! Please take a moment to review the steps below and if you still have questions, feel free to email us.

Accessing the Form

You can access our most recent Tax Intake Form by visiting the link below. All intake forms must be submitted by the deadlines shared in order to avoid late-filing penalties.

Complete Form

This form is designed to guide you through the questions required to complete your return. It will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Some things to know as you work to complete your form:

  • You can save your progress and return to your form at a later time

  • The form is responsive and will adapt the questions based on how you answer certain questions

  • For certain questions where we require additional information, you will be presented with two options. You can choose to input the information directly in the form if you have it on-hand, or you can select to have a worksheet sent to you.

Complete Your Worksheet

We will send you a personalized worksheet based on how you answered the questions in your form within 1-2 business days

  • If you do not receive your worksheet within that time, please send an email to hello@balanceaccountinginc.com

  • At the bottom of the document you will see a tab for each sheet you will need to compete

  • Please complete each sheet ensuring you have entered all necessary information into the form fields using the example text provided

  • Once you've completed all worksheets, share this document with our team by doing the following:

  1. Click 'Share' in the top-right corner

  2. In the field that says 'add people, groups, and calendar events' type in hello@balanceaccountinginc.ca and ensure the role shows as ‘editor’

  3. You can include a message indicating you've completed your worksheets and ensure 'notify people' is checked

  4. Press ‘Send’

  • If we need any additional information from you, or have questions, we will reach out using the contact information provided in your form
